The number one issue that most coaches have that prevents them from having amazing results is:
Broadening their targeting = Narrowing Results
This means that they don’t have a specific target area, or target market. More specifically it means that they don’t have a specific niche.
So many coaches are relying on manual marketing, more specifically networking, cold calling and referrals to get clients.
In the long term, you need to look at more leveraged marketing that is going to take your business to 7 figures and beyond.
I think that this metaphor works great to show you why it is so important to have a specific niche. If you are trying to catch fish with a net, the smaller the holes in between the rope, the easier it will be to catch fish. But if you keep stretching the net and making it broader and broader, the holes are going to be too big and the fish are going to swim straight through, which means that you are not going to be able to catch (help) any fish (clients).
WE NEED TO GET SPECIFIC ABOUT WHO WE ARE TARGETING!
You need to target more specifically with your online marketing so that you can really connect with a specific group of people and help them get the results they desire. Not only this, but all of the content on your online course will then be relevant to everyone who takes the course.
